Tour detail

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival
Our representative will meet and greet you upon arrival to Ho Chi Minh City, which is formerly known as Saigon. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.





Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels
Our city tour will help you to see the best of Saigon. In the morning we visit the historic Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum, followed by the architectural treats of French colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office.
In the afternoon, we drive to Cu Chi district, 65 km to the Northwest of Saigon City. On arrival watch a video presentation on the construction of the tunnels before making your way into the tunnels. This unique experience gives a fascinating insight into what underground life in the war must have been like.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong River cruise
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Saigon and take you to Can Tho or Cai Be. You board on a boat around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.
In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through the village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.
Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape. The boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.

Day 4: Mekong River cruise - Saigon – Fly to Danang - Hoi An
Wake up well rested to the sound of the River and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards while enjoying an early breakfast.
After breakfast, we will board a sampan boat to a floating market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. We will also visit some of the local candy and cake making factories or boat through the green water landscape to see local houses, verdant orchards and ship-building yards.
Your cruise journey will end at around 11.00 am and drive back to Saigon City to catch a short flight to Danang City. Pick up and transfer to Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An
Known as Faifo to early Western traders, Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. In the morning, you will enjoy a walking tour with first stop is the bustling fish and vegetable market and then we will go through the Old Quarters to see the town's landmarks of Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient Assembly Hall, Phuc Kien Temple and then we take a river trip and you will enjoy the scenery along the Thu Bon River and the general view of Hoi An Ancient Town. It transforms itself at night, when many of the shops hang lanterns outside. We will transfer you back to the town and rest of time at your own leisure. Hoi An is well know for souvenir shopping with great prices and also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to get a cloth tailor made to measure, this is the time to do it. Day 6: Hoi An at leisure
You will be free at leisure or make your own exploration to the town. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.






Day 7: Hoi An - Hue
In the morning, we will drive you to Hue, crossing magnificent Hai Van Pass where you could enjoy panoramic view of the Lang Co lagoon, fishing village and stunning long sandy beaches (former UAs R&R). You will arrive in Hue at noon. Check-in hotel and relax for a while. In the afternoon, we will tour Imperial Citadel and the complex. Overnight at hotel in Hue city.


Day 8: Hue – Fy to Hanoi
Morning touring to visit the royal mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang and the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda are not to be missed. We include these in a guided cruise on the Perfume River, which also gives us a taste of the tranquil countryside.
Return to town and then head for the airport to catch later afternoon flight to Hanoi. Check-in at hotel and rest of time at your own leisure. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.


Day 9: Hanoi City excursion
This comprehensive day tour takes in all of Hanoi's essential sites. In the morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historical presidential relics and then the Temple of Literature nearby. Afterwards we head to Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake.
In the afternoon, we will visit Museum of Ethnology, widely acknowledged as the best in the country which houses a display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic minority peoples. Then we will take 1 hour by cyclo ride through Hanoi's Old Quarters to experience daily life of people who are living in the oldest parts of the city. Enjoy the famous traditional water puppetry show where you will have chance to get a general picture of the daily activities typical to Vietnam's rural areas. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay cruise
Morning depart for Halong Bay with 4 hours travelling, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Check-in at 12:00 at noon and embark on a junk boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise.

Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai

Enjoy fresh air & gentle breeze of the bay in morning. Have breakfast on board and continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Check-out. Our driver will be waiting for you and drive you back to Hanoi. Free at leisure until 21:00 and then you will be transferred to railway station to board night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.


Day 12: Lao Cai - Sapa
The train arrives at Lao Cai station approx at 05h30. Here you will take a private vehicle to Sapa, where you enjoy your breakfast at a local restaurant. At 9h00, you will commence your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai village, a Black H'mong ethnic minority village. You will then be able to walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village where the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. Here you will be able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your guide in a local house. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai; a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest near a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is waiting to transfer you Sapa town to spend the night.

Day 13: Sapa – Night train back to Hanoi
At 9h00, you will commence the walk today by following the road for a while before turning on a small trail running downhill toward a suspension bridge at the bottom of the valley set over the long beautiful river. The walk is through the rice paddy terraces, hill sides and you have many opportunities to enjoy the magnificent valley views and encounter animals like water buffalos, goats or mountain pigs, which belong to the nearby Tay and Red Dao minorities, but are living their wide life. At noon you will cross the suspension bridge and enjoy lunch in a Tay minority stilt house. After lunch, you will follow another trail along the river towards the Ban Ho village, also inhabited by Tay ethnic minority. Our car will transfer you back to the Sapa town and then board a night train back to Hanoi

Day 14: Hanoi – Fly to Luang Prabang
The train arrives in Hanoi at 06:00. Come to nearby hotel for breakfast or at a local restaurant and then we will transfer you to the airport to catch a morning flight to Luang Prabang.
Luang Prabang was the royal capital of the former Lane Xang Kingdom, with its gleaming temple roofs, colonial architecture and stunning mountain backdrop retains a unique charm rarely found in all Asia. In the afternoon, we visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before we head out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. We then return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 15: Luang Prabang
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. Later, we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace. It displays a collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign.
In the afternoon, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture.

Day 16: Luang Prabang
The day starts with a visit to the Big Brother Mouse shop to select some books for the village visit. We then head north to Ban Khia Luang village. We then have ample time to visit the school, play with the kids and watch them enjoy their new books. We also take some time to explore the rest of the village, where you can see weaving and visit the local temple. We stop for lunch at the village. After lunch we say good bye to the village and drive to Ban Khoklin, which takes us through some beautiful scenery of mountains and paddy fields. At Ban Khoklin we then board a private boat down the Nam Ou river for 30 minutes to Pak Ou Caves and continue down the Mekong River back to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 17: Luang Prabang – Fly to Siem Reap
Today we will fly to Siem Reap, the charming riverside which is located in Northwest Cambodia, Siem Reap is the major tourist hub in Cambodia, as it is the closest city to the temples of Angkor. The most recognizable of the temples, Angkor Wat, literally Capital Temple, built by King Suryavarman II the early 12th century. Check-in hotel and at leisure or spend your time to walking around the Old town.

Day 18: Siem Reap

Your private tour of Angkor Wat starts from the South Gate of Angkor Thom City. Explore the centerpiece of the ancient city, The Bayon. The Bayon is known for its decorative Khmer temple and its distinctive features are the serene and massive stone faces that tower around the central peak. Your tour continues with visits to Baphuon temple, the Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas as well as the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper Kings. Enjoy lunch in front of Angkor Wat before entering this magnificent temple - easily the most famous and best-preserved of all structures within the Complex. Enjoy most of the afternoon here to watch sunset over the Angkor before heading back to Siem Reap.

Day 19: Siem Reap
In the morning, you will continue your temple visits. Included are Prasat Kravan with its unique brick sculptures, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon and the "Mountain Temple" of Pre Rup.
In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue to the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area - The Buddhist monastic complex of Ta Prohm is one of the largest sites at Angkor. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, then visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 20: Siem Reap – Fly to Phnom Penh
Morning flight to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia was a bustling commercial hub during French colonial days and today has re-established itself as the political and financial center of the country. Its rich historical past can be traced to the Khmer and French influence evident in the ornate Khmer-style temples and the grand colonial buildings and villas. We will spend time to visit the National Museum and the Silver Pagoda and we will take a sobering look at Cambodia's disturbing past with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum, a testament to Cambodia's recent bloody past under the Khmer Rouge regime.

Day 21: Phnom Penh – Departure
Free at leisure until we will transfer you to the airport to take your flight onward. End of service.
